Around and about: No snowstorm this time for golf tourney

No one expects a golf tournament to be delayed by a snowstorm in May.

But that's just what happened to the benefit golf outing sponsored by the Navy League, Reserve Officers Association, U.S. Submarine Vets and Association of Naval Aviation originally scheduled for May 3.

The event now will be held July 26 at the Willow Lake Golf Course. Deadline to sign up is July 22.
