Q: Hi, I have had an interest in real estate for years now. I would love to get started in real estate investing like flipping or renting properties. I?m a computer tech so I would love to do this on the side. Theres so much information out there but their usually books on how to become a millionaire and dumb stuff like that with no real answers. In a professional opinion I would love some information on where I should start?

A: One of the best television programs on flipping was called ?Property Ladder? on TLC with Kirsten Kemp. She has a great book on flipping as well called Flipping Confidential that I highly recommend. I see you are in Texas which will be much different then California, but the basic principals are the same. You also could use a really good Realtor to located property for you. IF you commit to your Agent and are willing to provide the financial information your agent needs, they will be a great asset to you.
